Hiring Managers will be extending offers to qualified candidates on site. - **Open, walk-in interviews Tuesday, July 28th, from 10am-1pm** - **No Experience Required for entry level positions - Paid on-the-job training!** - **Entry-Level Wage set at $23.50/hour** - **Hiring Managers will be extending offers to qualified candidates on site!** ***When: Tuesday, July 28th, from 10am-1pm*** ***Where: Valvoline Instant Oil Change, 1935 Market St, Concord, CA 94520*** *\*If this time frame does not work for you, please apply online, then contact our recruiter, Kristian at 510-246-0199 or via email at kschrieber@vioc.net* *Please bring a list of previous work experience and be prepared for an on-site interview.* **Responsibilities** - Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions. - Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services for vehicles. - Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or areas that require attention. - Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and fluid level checks. - Basic computer knowledge/aptitude - Keep track of inventory and ensure all supplies are readily available. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. **Requirements** - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. - Excellent problem-solving skills - Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Able to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services. - Achieve SuperPro certification. - Must have reliable transportation. **Essential Functions** - Inspecting and replacing car lights and wipers. - Check fluid levels and add fluids to vehicle when necessary. - Inspect/replace engine air filter and cabin air filter. - Add oil to engine in the proper amount based on specifications of vehicle make/model. - Able to remove/rotate/lift/reinstall tires for tire rotation service. - Lubricate necessary components of the chassis/driveline. - Perform additional services on cooling systems and transmissions. - Perform second checks by visually verifying and performing proper callouts to ensure all necessary services have been performed correctly. - Able to move from bay to bay to perform services on multiple vehicles. - Frequently ascends/descends stairs/catwalks/stepstools to retrieve vehicle parts (filters, wipers, etc.) or perform services top side or underneath the vehicle (drain oil, replace filter, differential services, lubrication) - Able to work for extended periods of time with arms above your head when performing services underneath the vehicle on a catwalk. - Constantly positions self to perform required services under the hood, related to tires, or on catwalk working underneath the vehicle. - Able to move/transport items up to approximately 50 pounds. - Able to work with tools to perform duties in tight sometimes hard to reach areas. - Communicate verbally and receive verbal communication to ensure services are performed accurately, safely and in the proper order. **Environment** - In this position you will be su…
