Perform dose preparation and administration functions for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purpose; perform patient procedures, process, and enhance images, and prepare images for interpreting physician to view. ## Qualifications **Education/Training**• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology. **Licensure/Certification** • Must meet ONE of the following in totality: \* Maintains current certification as both a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) AND Positron Emission Tomography (PET) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); OR \* Maintains current certification in both American Registry of Radiology Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT) (N); AND Positron Emission Tomography (PET) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) • Must meet ALL of the following: \* Maintains current Florida State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. \* Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. **Experience**• Must have knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT equipment, procedures, and radiation safety. ## Responsibilities **Essential Functions**• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, diagnostic CT, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy functions as required.• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.• Adheres to Orlando Health mission statement and strategic imperatives.• Performs all nuclear medicine dynamic, static and functional, PET, and diagnostic CT procedures required by specific studies.• Performs SPECT, SPECT CT, PET, PET CT, and diagnostic CT imaging as required by guidelines or physician order.• Performs PET and diagnostic CT imaging on a rotational basis as outlined in written procedures or directed by interpreting physician, as required.• Performs all computer acquisition, and processing and documentation as required by procedure.• Performs quality control on all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation as outlined by written procedure or manufactures guidelines.• Orders and administers radiopharmaceuticals including positron emitters as require…
