ENTRY LEVEL!!!!!!! · We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior / Entry-Level Capacity Planning Analyst to support our manufacturing and supply chain planning teams. In this role, you will gather data from our production floors, monitor inventory levels, and help update our long-term vehicle capacity models. This position offers a direct pathway to learning automotive operations, material requirements planning (MRP), and factory line optimization. · Key Entry-Level Responsibilities · Data Gathering & Cleaning: Extract production data, line-speed metrics (jobs per hour), and downtime reports from plant databases to update master planning schedules. · Inventory Tracking: Monitor daily component inventory levels and flag potential shortages of critical parts (e.g., microchips, assemblies) to the planning team. · Model Maintenance: Input fresh sales forecasts, historical data, and shift patterns into existing capacity planning templates and spreadsheets. · Ad-Hoc Reporting: Generate routine weekly and monthly performance reports detailing plant utilization rates and production variances for management. · Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with plant floor supervisors and logistics coordinates to verify that physical production counts match system data. · Qualifications & Requirements · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field. · Experience: 0–2 years of experience (relevant internships in manufacturing, logistics, or data analysis are highly preferred). [1] · Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, formulas, basic pivot tables).
