In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. **SUMMARY:** Assist with the daily operations of the company kitchen and cafeteria. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Assist in the daily preparation of breakfast, lunch and event meals for employees and their guests. - Help manage food inventory by assisting with ordering, shopping, and stocking supplies for daily meal preparation. - Ensure the kitchen, dining, and food storage areas are clean and well-organized daily. - Consistently apply safe food handling practices. - Deliver high-quality customer service to all employees and guests. **REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of culinary skills, menu development and food purchasing skills preferred. Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams). Experience with Point-of-Sale systems (POS) a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license. **REQUIRED SKILLS:** Oral and written communication skills for contact with fellow employees, other team members and upper management. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, such as those used for food preparation or storage. Able to address and/or recommend solutions to kitchen-related equipment or food supply problems or needs. **MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:** Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in written or diagram form. Reasoning; dealing with problems involving a few variables in standard situations. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and/or fingers on a regular basis. The employee uses handle controls and must be able to talk or hear. The employee is required to sit, squat or stand and reach with hands and arms.
