C-Store Associate Morning Shift/ Full-Time

**SUMMARY** The C-Store Associate is responsible for customer service, sales, inventory, and maintenance of the C-Store. The position is also responsible for providing excellent service to members and patrons, working as a team, accurate transactions, and following safety policies and procedures. **AVAILABLE:** - 1 Full-Time Morning Shift Position **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.) *Responsible for:* - Provides excellent customer service. - Responsible for promoting and selling products and services. - Accurately balances the cash drawer, daily sales, and inventory. - Responsible for ensuring that interior and exterior of fuel facility are neat, clean, and in good condition, and report to the C-Store Manager any issues that may need resolution. - Works cooperatively with other locations to help ensure company goals are met. - Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations, responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meeting commitments. - Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management. - Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements - Understands and complies with applicable state and federal regulations. - Ability to work schedules that vary with prompt and regular attendance. - Follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. - Assist other office departments as needed. - Operating Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as needed. - Daily housekeeping of work area. - Reporting to the manager on any cost-saving opportunities. - Securing facilities and equipment when closing. - Promoting and adhering to the company Core Values of honesty, integrity & teamwork. - Adherence to safety policies. - Adherence to cooperative credit policy. - Works with other cooperative staff at other locations to ensure cooperative goals are met. - Presenting a clean and professional appearance. - Promptly and regularly report to work and work overtime hours as needed. - Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** No supervisory responsibilities. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the cooperative. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
