**Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven individual with a passion for procurement?** Design Ready Controls (DRC) is seeking a **Buyer** to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of production materials by strategically managing the purchasing process. **What you'll do:** - **Strategic Sourcing:** Create and manage purchase orders for a variety of materials, considering factors like lead time, demand, cost, and inventory space. - **Inventory Management:** Analyze inventory levels, identify re-order points, and proactively address potential shortages. - **ERP System Expertise:** Utilize our ERP system to efficiently manage purchase orders, track inventory, and generate reports. - **Supplier Relationships:** Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and excellent quality. - **Production Support:** Collaborate closely with production teams to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues. - **Data Analysis:** Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and optimize inventory costs. **Education | Abilities | Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite^^(especially Excel). - Experience with ERP systems (M1 preferred). - A proactive and results-oriented approach. - Candidate must be located in Minnesota. **Compensation & Benefits:** - **Annual Salary :**$58,000.00 - $68,000.00 DOE - **Comprehensive Benefits Package:** - Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Life Insurance, Disability, ADD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Floating Holidays, ESST. **Disclaimer:** *This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the position.
