Busser/Support Server Position Job Overview duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for supporting service staff in all aspects of service. Stocks service areas, maintains adequate supplies, clears, cleans and resetting all tables. Assists with service of beverages and cleaning of all public areas. Experience Experience as a busser is preferred. Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands. A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food handling and safety practices. Friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to work in a team. Duties & Responsibilities Set and clean all tables. Stock all service stations and assists service staff where needed. Maintain the highest quality and consistent cleaniness of stations. Clear tables and clean and sanitize as needed. Check floor and clean as required. Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating requests to managers as needed. Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager and complete safety training and certifications. Uniform Requirements: Clean, non-slip shoes must be worn in kitchen area. Socks must be worn. Clean pants and shirts must be worn. All applicable food handling and safety requirements must be followed. No piercings allowed on the clock. Hours and Availability Typical workweek: 20-40 hours Hours vary depending on business demand. Benefits and Pay Employees are considered “full time status" if the employee consistently works over 30 hours per work week.
