Business Travel Sales Manager Overview: The Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for driving our business transient sales strategy and revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and travel managers. This role will focus on knowledge of market trends to target and secure preferred corporate accounts and develop strategies to increase market share and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proven track record in sales, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. Responsibilities: Fully develop and manage the Transient Corporate market segment by identifying, soliciting and securing new business opportunities while cultivating and expanding relationships with existing key local and global accounts. Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive incremental room nights, increase revenue and achieve or exceed annual production goals. Maintain a strong focus on account retention, market share growth and client partnerships through proactive account management and exception customer service. Develop relationships in the community to strengthen and expand hotel & transient sales opportunities Maintain weekly telephone and outside solicitation, travel agency presentations. Partners with group/catering counterparts to effectively manage the overall business opportunity Responsible for maintaining relationships with Omni Hotels & Resorts Global Business Travel Team and responding to all incoming Global team requests. Local accounts: responsible for total account management, which includes ensuring local contracts are in place, account management and servicing the needs of these local contacts. Participate in weekly marketing and rooms merchandising meetings, monthly sales meetings, stand up daily and monthly sales meetings as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing Responsible for maintaining all Business Travel reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Attend monthly corporate negotiated account conference calls with corporate office. Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of hotel sales experience (BT experience preferred). College Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related major preferred Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to strengthen conversion and strategies Ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize when necessary. Previous experience in proactive lead generation in the hospitality and sales discipline Experience with Salesforce is preferred. Must be willing to travel to represent the Hotel during Trade Shows/Conventions.
