This highly collaborative role is ideal for someone who thrives on tackling complex challenges, partnering with diverse teams, and delivering impactful, sustainable improvements. The successful candidate will act as an internal consultant, using their expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization to assess current practices, identify opportunities, and implement scalable solutions that enhance capacity, quality, and cost efficiency. Beyond process mapping and analysis, this leader will facilitate cross-functional workshops, develop and track key performance metrics, and communicate progress at every level – from operators to executive leadership. This role will require 50% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). - Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. - Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. - Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. - Collects data to identify root cause of problems. - Measures performance against process requirements. - Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. - Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. - May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. - Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. - Communicates team progress. - Performs cost and benefit analyses. **Minimum Requirements** - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR - An advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience **Nice To Have** - 3+ years of dedicated Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence (OpEx) implementation experience, driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and delivery - Experience leading transactional and business process improvement initiatives across functions such as distribution centers, supply chain, quality, finance, operations, HR, or shared services - Advanced Lean or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt, Master Black Belt) - Previous consulting experience in operational excellence or process transformation - Demonstrated success leading projects in highly regulated industries (e.g., medical device, pharma, aerospace, automotive) - Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Minitab) - Change…
