Business Planning Specialist

## About the Role The Business Planning Specialist (Specialist, Business Planning) is responsible for developing and analyzing strategic plans to grow Canon's product and service portfolio, enhancing revenue and market share. This role combines market research, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to identify growth opportunities and execute initiatives effectively. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. ## Your Impact - Studies sales trends and sales history to fully understand the requirements of our products based on market and customer demands - Complete monthly purchase plans for products based on the forecast/ladder and on hand/in transit inventory - Manages inventory levels to ensure that we are not exceeding the target turnover rate for each product line - Manages the allocation process for inventory items and analyze business partners' ladders/forecasts to ensure we are shipping as requested - Maintains monthly allocation file with updated forecasts and reflects accurate information into PSI - Reviews competitors' products to see how we can compete - Manages the order release process while supporting sales and effectively collaborating with order management, logistics and sales support - Supports budget planning and inputs Hyperion calculations for items in all expense categories ## About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience - Project management experience is a plus - Good analytical skills - Presentation skills required - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required - MS Office and Google Workspace experience We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $66,300 - $81,550 annually. ## Company Overview About our Company - Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean markets.
