Help make the world more hospitable The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences. You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building. If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here. About the role Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: Sweden's hotel operators are running on legacy, on-premise technology that creates system fragmentation and manual workarounds across everything they do. This BDR role exists to open the Swedish market for Mews, building qualified pipeline from the first cold call to the booked discovery meeting. Swedish hospitality is at a tipping point, and the window to be Mews' first consistent voice in that conversation is now. You will work across the NEU territory, owning outbound prospecting to Swedish hotel GMs, revenue managers, and group procurement contacts. The pipeline you build is the commercial foundation for everything Mews does in Sweden. It does not exist before you arrive, and you will have direct input into how the territory develops over time. Swedish hotel operators are navigating real operational urgency: systems that do not talk to each other, workarounds that cost staff time, and growing awareness that the technology gap needs to close. Mews has a cloud-native platform with a strong design story. Sweden needs a BDR who can start real conversations with the operators who are ready to move. What you would do Run multi-channel cold outreach including calls, emails, and targeted sequences to Swedish hotel GMs, revenue managers, and procurement contacts, converting conversations into booked discovery meetings for the Account Executive team Research and tier new business opportunities in the Swedish market, building pipeline on your own initiative rather than waiting for inbound volume Qualify inbound enquiries from marketing campaigns and the Mews website, moving interested prospects through to a structured first conversation Track and report pipeline activity to the Business Development Manager on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences Feed market intelligence from Swedish hotel operators back to the regional commercial team to sharpen targeting and outreach approach AI Fluency Level 2: In practice, this means using AI to draft and personalise outreach to Swedish hotel GMs, giving it real context about the property, the GM's known situation, and the tone that works with Nordic hospitality operators, then reviewing and editing before anything is sent. You are actively experimenting with AI sequencing tools and research assistants and building a view on what produces better results with Swedish prospects. Every message that reaches a prospect is yours. For more information on AI fluency at Mews, please refer to "AI Fluency at Mews: A Comprehensive Guide for Candidates" on Confluence. What you would bring Swedish and English fluency, both at a level that holds up in external conversations with hotel decision-makers At least one cycle in an outbound-facing role where you initiated contact and handled rejection, whether BDR, SDR, inside sales, or a high-contact customer-facing position A genuine connection to hospitality, through hotel operations, front desk, reservations, events, food and beverage, or deep curiosity about how hotels work, so you can speak credibly to a GM from the first call Clea…
