## Description The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, conducting market research analysis, and managing relationships effectively. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION - Understand Company target markets, resources, and services; identify business opportunities in target markets that align with company strategy and goals - Identify and research market competitors and assist with developing a winning strategy based on competitive intelligence. - Understand the decision process and identify key decision makers. - Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships. - Collect and maintain client information in the CRM database. - Conduct market research and identify potential clients. - Track and monitor the status of bid proposals and future project opportunities. - Contribute to the development of sales strategies in line with the company’s short- and long-range business objectives. - Evaluate upcoming opportunities to assess the feasibility of the prospect for the company. - Provide active attention to the client’s needs, evaluating the needs, and offering solutions and assessments as necessary. - Facilitate effective engagement between the client and operations experts. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. - Actively participate in the company’s key professional organizations and industry events. - Provide and/or encourage development opportunities for junior team members. - Analyzes market trends, client behavior, and competitive landscape to inform pursuit strategy and operational readiness. - Drives targeted client engagement and pipeline development aligned to enterprise goals and capability planning. - Develops and maintains repeatable processes, tools, and communication standards for proactive and reactive pursuits. - Meets with and manages market sector leaders. - Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - B.
