**Job Summary** The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth through the identification and cultivation of new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. This role is responsible for creating and executing strategic business development plans, prospecting and building relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning the organization as a valuable partner in mission-aligned fundraising opportunities. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize impact and support the organization’s long-term sustainability. **Core Duties** 1. **Business Development** - Create a business development plan to identify, evaluate, and structure key transactions to ensure continued financial health and maximum value new partnerships. 2. **Partner Relationships Development / Prospecting** - Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues. 3. **Corporate Sponsor Identification** - Guide a complex area or process on corporate sponsorship identification. 4. **Stakeholder Engagement** - Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment. 5. **Fundraising Opportunities Creation** - Develop a personal network within assigned territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation. 6. **Pitch Partner Propositions -** Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard services offered by the organization that meets the customer's needs. 7. **CRM Management -** Use of Salesforce to manage prospect activity, track sales pipeline performance, and maintain accurate prospect and opportunity records throughout the sales cycle. Utilize Salesforce reporting and CRM tools to identify new business opportunities, support forecasting efforts, and drive strategic outreach initiatives.
