Business Analyst

Delivering high-quality IT, cybersecurity, and data analytics solutions through proven and innovative methods is our vision. **Job Description:** Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to provide support to senior resources on the team in areas of technical writing/review, research assistance, documentation preparation, and compile and drafting documentation for use in responses to requests. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements and developing a requirements document. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work closely with stakeholders, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals. **Duties:** - Elicit, document, and analyze business and system requirements for projects and initiatives. - Analyze and interpret requirements to ensure they are clear, consistent, and feasible. - Identify and elicit requirements from various stakeholders - Facilitate meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, gaps and challenges. - Create and maintain clear and concise requirements document - Communicate requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to validate and prioritize requirements. - Review documents and provide technical edits and comments **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** - Some post-secondary education in English, Science, or a related technical discipline, or a combination of relevant education and directly applicable professional experience. - Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Technical Writer - Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). - Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office and excellent writing skills - Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. - Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Working Environment:** Hybrid **Required Clearance:** Active Secret **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:** Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $112,320.00-$120,050.00 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
