Build Support Engineer - Electrical

Operating in 10 countries, we’re investing in our people and our communities, with over 31,000 buses and coaches in service around the world. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Alexander Dennis is seeking an Electrical Build Support Engineer to join our Current Model Engineering team in Las Vegas. This is a highly hands-on role that serves as the critical link between Engineering and Production, supporting vehicle builds through troubleshooting, validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Spending approximately 70–75% of your time on the production floor, you will work directly alongside production teams to investigate and resolve electrical and electronic issues affecting vehicle builds. You will review engineering documentation, analyze vehicle network communications, validate functionality, and implement practical engineering solutions that improve quality, reliability, and production efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world technical problems, working closely with manufacturing teams, and gaining deep product knowledge.
