This potential role will be critical in ensuring effective information management that supports research missions. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference! **SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:** - Provide functional, operational, maintenance, and support for budget and planning systems. - Translate conceptual and operational requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner for developers/project team. - Perform functional acceptance software testing. - Develop and conduct requirement reviews. - Investigate and perform root-cause analysis to resolve system issues. - Create end-user functional system documentation and provide end-user training. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (or 10 years’ Federal Budget experience). - Understanding of DoD and Air Force and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes. - Understanding of different program and organizational levels, exhibit management, reporting, submission tracking, and budget justification books (j-books). - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Direct experience with data collection and analysis. - Experience testing and mapping business processes. - Ability to interpret technical discussions, analyze and solve problems, while creating and maintaining documentation. - Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. - Ability to effectively prioritize, work accurately, and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team. - Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and can obtain a favorable National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) clearance. **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** - Familiarity with the Integrated Budget Documentation and Execution System (IDECS) and/or Keystone Decision Support System (KDSS). - DoD Financial Management (FM) certification Level 1 or 2. - Experience gathering and tracking system requirements through requirements lifecycle and the ability to perform acceptance testing. - Knowledge of Audit standards to include familiarity with G…
