Bromley Mountain Lift Mechanic Apprenticeship

## Description **Summary:** Bromley is looking for entry level lift maintenance technicians and will pay for the education needed in the Vermont Tramway apprenticeship program. If you possess a natural aptitude, and curiosity for understanding, repairing, and working with machinery outdoors, this career path is for you. **Duties and Responsibilities:** · Inspect, repair and maintain lifts, associated buildings and ramps · Diagnose malfunctions · Disassembles and overhauls machinery and equipment · Lubricates machinery and equipment · Carries out preventive maintenance program · Operate lifts as needed · Performs other duties as required by management ## Requirements **Qualifications and Competencies:** · Must have a mechanical aptitude sufficient to understand lift equipment and its function · 18 years of age or older · Must be able to work weekends and holidays · Punctual and prepared to perform work duties · Must be able to project image established by the company · Must be able to climb ladders and work from heights · Must be prepared to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions and extreme cold **Supervisory Responsibility:** This position has no supervisory responsibilities **Work Environment:** This job operates primarily outdoors year-round. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, and photocopiers as well as maintenance equipment on a daily basis. Role also operates 4-wheelers and snow mobiles on a regular basis. **Physical Demands**: This is a physically active role requiring several hours of standing and working outdoors. Occasionally indoors using computers and phones as well.
