### Description **Broiler Fat Puller** **Purpose/Scope:** The individual selected for this position will be responsible for working in the field collecting and processing blood, extracting fat samples, swabbing birds, collecting water, collecting bacteria samples. Job will require driving a company vehicle. **** **** **Person must be able to perform the following:** · Must have experience in broiler positions. · Must be willing to work all hours scheduled. · Must be capable of performing simple math. · Must have good verbal and written communication skills. · Must be able to meet the following, but not limited to, essential functions listed below with or without accommodation: **Duties & Responsibilities**: · Routinely collects and process blood, culture and tissue samples · Complete necessary paperwork to submit samples to laboratory · Assist in placement of pullet flocks · Collect blood, fat, and swabs for bird movements · Collecting water samples and other routine sampling **Qualifications: (Required/Desired)** · Highly motivated · Able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds · Must have excellent driving record and current valid driver’s license · Able to work in a hot, high humidity, dusty environment · May be required to work abnormal hours · Must be able to complete paperwork for laboratory submission of samples · Must have positive attitude and be able to work well with others · Excellent work, safety and attendance record · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required. · Must have good verbal and written communication skills. · Must be able to retrieve and handle bird bodily fluids. · Perform other duties as directed or assigned. **EOE, including disability/vets**
