**ATTENTION ALASKA RESIDENTS ONLY!** **The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Project Delivery Bridge Section, is looking for an Engineering Assistant 1/2/3 Flex (Drafting / Geo-Spatial Engineer Assistant) to help us *Keep Alaska Moving!*** **** **Base Salary Information:** ***Engineering Assistant 1: $35.45 / hourly (OT Eligible) Engineering Assistant 2: $40.86 / hourly (OT Eligible) Engineering Assistant 3: $46.71 / hourly (OT Eligible)*** **What you will be doing:**The Bridge Drafting and Geo-Spatial Engineering Assistant plays a hands-on role in the drafting of bridge design projects and processing of information collected during bridge inspections. You'll be involved in a variety of exciting tasks, from preparing construction plan sheets to conducting bridge inspections to assisting with the collection and processing of bridge management data. Under the guidance of licensed engineers, you'll prepare preliminary bridge layouts and detailed final plans using Auto CAD. You'll also assist with drone and sonar data collection efforts.
