Join us. ## Job Description **AECOM** is seeking a strong bridge design leader for the position of **Bridge Design Project Manager** in the rapidly expanding Transportation Engineering Group in Los Angeles Ca. **Specifics of the role include:** - Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects. - Strong emphasis on complex bridge design (including rail and metro transit) projects and deliveries. - Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling. - Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. - Leads technical business development work. - Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. - Approves and signs off on work. - Leader in one or more areas of technology. - Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects. This position is an opportunity to work within an established and successful group that offers a diverse range of projects, technical challenges and career development opportunities. ## Qualifications **Minimum Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. - California state PE license or ability to attain reciprocity in possessing another U.S. state PE license within one year of employment. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 12 + years' experience in bridge design and project deliveries. - Extensive project design experience with complex bridge project work in CA. along with related structures project detail deliveries. - Strong & proven success with business development and client relationships. This is a SELLER/DOER opportunity. - Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing. - Strong, proven and documented bridge project management experience & success and skills in California or regional project deliveries. - Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDX - Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus. - Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software) - Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes. - Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools. ## Additional Information - All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. - Relocation not offered with this opportunity - AECOM does not offer U.S. work sponsorship or sponsorship transfer with this opportunity.
