Brewery Emporium Associate

JOB SUMMARY: The Brewery Emporium Associate will work in our brewery store which will serve as a haven for the ultimate craft beer connoisseur who seeks to delve deeper into the worlds of homebrew and beer education. The Associate provides a welcoming and educational experience to guests with the ability to impact knowledge of brewing, products, and beer in general. They should be a conduit for education and enjoyable atmosphere that employees the "Destination Paso" theme. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities: Provide inventory management using our POS system to include planning and stocking Complete front and back end operations Provide excellent customer service including educating and informing customers on our beer, history and products for sale Maintain a working knowledge of beer and brewing in general and specifically knowledge of Firestone Walkers beers Maintains order and cleanliness at all times Follows all ABC laws Create a fun, high energy environment Make customers feel welcome and relaxed Fill growlers as needed for customers and ensure they are filled properly and efficiently Divulge the correct information to the customer about each beer served Greet each customer as they enter the Emporium Process cash and credit card transactions through POS system Reconcile the cash/credit drawer at the end of the day Complete opening and closing tasks correctly and efficiently Constantly straighten retail items so they appear atheistically appealing to the customer Stock and replenish retail items including beer and merchandise Change kegs as needed for beer tastings Properly clean and maintain the draught system **Required Qualifications:** - High School Diploma or equivalent and prior experience in retail and customer service - Self-motivated, organized and goal oriented - Strong customer service skills - Ability to teach/train others - Ability to start and finish tasks in a timely manner; ability to be proactive and take initiative - Ability to multi-task in high energy environment - Ability to work weekends and holidays - Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time - Must be at least 21 years old
