Position Overview The Brand Payments Associate plays a key role in managing and supporting essential processes within the Brand Payments function. Serving as the first point of contact for Brand Payments Associates, this role provides guidance, escalates issues to the Team Lead, and ensures operational efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Core responsibilities include preparing and approving remittance reports, responding to brand inquiries via Zendesk, and supporting a wide range of payment and operational activities. The Brand Payment Associate will also collaborate with the Team Lead on special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements—making flexibility and openness to new tools essential. Key Responsibilities Reconcile and analyze retailer payments due to brands, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Manage Zendesk tickets by responding to brand inquiries promptly and accurately. Support day-to-day operations, including: Verifying the status of orders, invoices, and payments Processing fee adjustment requests and conducting research with both internal and external partners Creating and maintaining files for brand order analysis Participate in and occasionally lead calls with brand partners. Collaborate with the Team Lead on special projects, process enhancements, and system improvements. Stay adaptable and open to learning new tools and systems as business needs evolve. Requirements 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related field Proficiency with financial systems; experience with QuickBooks is a plus Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in payment and reconciliation Exceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred Enthusiasm and ability to learn new software and adapt to evolving processes Key Skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving High attention to detail Proactivity and autonomy Time management and prioritization Effective written and verbal communication Team collaboration and mentorship Flexibility and adaptability Leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Compliance/Regulation Experience: Nabis’s core business is focused on cannabis compliance (track n trace).
