This role is for an industry insider with genuine passion for a specific consumer vertical — a chance to establish authority in the space and build an entire vertical from inception. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the full commercial motion in your vertical, from pipeline generation through closing enterprise deals. Build multi-threaded relationships across insights, marketing, and strategy teams. Expand revenue within existing accounts as a strategic partner. Establish thought leadership through content and conference speaking. Translate industry problems into product insights that shape the roadmap. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 90 days: leverage your industry network to build pipeline and land early deals. First year: own and grow a vertical, becoming a trusted strategic partner to enterprise brands. MUST-HAVES 3–6 years in strategy, commercial, or revenue roles; prior work inside a brand/retailer in food/beverage, CPG, or retail; deep, genuine passion for a specific consumer vertical. NICE-TO-HAVES Existing network among brand/retail insights and marketing leaders; experience building a book or vertical from scratch. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $110K–$135K base (USD), $250K OTE, competitive equity. LOCATION & WORK MODEL On-site 5 days/week in New York City (SoHo).
