As a Branch Manager, the primary objective is to cultivate an environment that fosters exceptional world-class service for our Credit Union members. This involves leading and inspiring a team within a branch setting to effectively address the financial needs of the community. As a digitally-focused leader, the role encompasses a commitment to training and coaching staff not only in the seamless utilization of digital channels and services but also in the understanding of the technology employed within the organization. The overarching goal is to consistently enhance the member experience. The responsibilities include the strategic recruitment, coaching, and development of a dedicated team, fostering a work culture that prioritizes a strong work ethic contributing to the branch’s overall success and achievement of production goals. The ideal candidate should be an ambitious individual capable of infusing a sense of enjoyment into the workplace, all while guiding a team of enthusiastic learners, creative problem solvers, and collaborative team players. Assist with outside marketing and promotional activities for members and potential members through business development, financial presentations, trade shows, and local events. Monitor that omnichannel vision and strategy align with organizational goals. Five years of management experience to include at least one year of managing through subordinate supervisors. - Obtain a FiCEP Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification within twelve (12) months of the position start date and maintain recertification as needed - Experience in leading a diverse and complex operational environment while using good judgment to make sound decisions - Experience in supervising, leading, training, and developing staff to achieve individual and organizational goals - Knowledge and auditing of applicable federal regulations governing consumer lending, credit cards, mortgage, equity loans, savings and checking to fulfill NCUA’s requirements - Knowledge of retail banking industry best practices, industry concepts, related laws and regulations - Must have excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and communication skills, including the ability to interact diplomatically with staff, management, vendors, and members; proficiency in effective verbal and written communication - Experience in responding to requests for complex financial information and data, as well as the ability to analyze statistics and reports to identify business performance and trends - Deep understanding of retail bank industry best practices, industry concepts, related laws and regulations - Adaptability to effectively organize, plan, and manage time while applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment - Data driven to understand complex financial information from data, to…
