We strive to cultivate a representative team of teachers and leaders that reflect our students’ diversity. ### Role Overview The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) partners with school teams to ensure students with significant behavioral needs receive evidence-based behavioral assessment, intervention, and support that promotes meaningful access to instruction and positive educational outcomes. This role leads a portfolio of complex behavior cases across multiple schools, partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to build staff capacity and strengthen implementation of effective behavior supports. In this role, you own projects end-to-end with real autonomy over how the work gets done. You make day-to-day execution decisions and bring your manager in when something would change the project's direction or require resources beyond your scope. ### Core Responsibilities ## Behavioral Assessment & Intervention Planning - Leads Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Special Circumstance Instructional Assessments (SCIAs), and other behavior evaluations to identify the function of behavior and develop evidence-based recommendations that improve student outcomes. - Develops individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), replacement behavior strategies, and behavior goals that align with student needs, IEPs, and educational programming. - Partners with multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavior assessment findings into special education services and instructional planning. - Communicates assessment results and behavior recommendations clearly to educators, families, and IEP teams to support informed decision-making. ## Behavior Program Implementation & Progress Monitoring - Oversees implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans across assigned schools, ensuring interventions are delivered consistently and with fidelity. - Develops behavior data collection systems that enable school teams to monitor student progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and make timely instructional adjustments. - Analyzes behavioral data to identify trends, recommend modifications to intervention plans, and improve student outcomes over time. - Maintains accurate documentation and student records that meet IDEA, FERPA, and organizational compliance requirements. ## Consultation, Coaching & Professional Learning - Coaches Education Specialists, paraeducators, school leaders, and other staff to strengthen implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and evidence-based behavior interventions. - Delivers professional learning that builds educator capacity in positive behavior supports, classroom behavior management, de-escalation strategies, and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans. - Consults with classroom teams to develop proactive behavior management practices that promote safe, inclusive, and support…
