Under the direction of the supervisor, the Blending Operator will manufacture a variety of liquid products within set specifications. The Blending associate is responsible for the quality of blends, accurate completion of all paperwork, sanitation of blending rooms and taking all samples that are required. Responsibilities: Verify all the raw ingredients are present before beginning the weighing process Weigh each ingredient and add to the vessel in the specified order according to the job and mixing instructions Accurately document all lot numbers for each component onto a batch sheet for traceability purposes Communicates and works together with QA to maintain all standards and practices of the food industry in accordance with FDA and State regulations Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times to prevent cross contamination and build up Comply and adhere to all GMP’s policies and safety procedures Accurately measure conversions and ingredients Clean and sanitize all equipment according to GMP standards Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment with blending powdered food materials Ability to use calculator and other measurement instruments Basic computer skills a plus Flexibility for overtime when needed Must be able to read/write English Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training Role’s Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment We proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!
