Billing Specialist

Sitemetric is seeking a meticulous and highly organized **Billing Specialist** to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate customer invoices, maintaining billing records, supporting collections, and ensuring customer billing requirements are met. Today, Sitemetric partners with many of the nation's largest and most innovative construction companies and continues to grow rapidly. **Key Responsibilities** The Billing Specialist works closely with the Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure timely and accurate billing. **Billing & Invoicing** - Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule. - Review contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and support documentation to ensure billing accuracy. - Maintain billing records and supporting documentation. - Submit invoices through customer billing portals such as Textura, Coupa, Oracle, and other customer-specific platforms. **Customer Accounts** - Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally and promptly. - Support collections by providing billing documentation and resolving invoice disputes. - Support project closeouts by ensuring all billings have been completed and required documentation has been submitted. **Process Improvement** - Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and efficiency. - Assist with developing and documenting billing procedures and best practices. - Support month-end billing close and reporting activities. **General Support** - Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure customer billing expectations are met. - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Required** - Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience. - Strong diligence and organizational skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a challenging environment. **Preferred** - Experience with construction billing. - Experience with AIA billing, lien waivers, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and construction contracts. - Experience using Oracle NetSuite. - Experience with customer billing portals such as Textura, Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms. - Experience collaborating with general contractors and commercial construction customers. - Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to continuous operational excellence. **Perks & Benefits** As part of the Sitemetric team, you'll receive: - Health, dental, and vision insurance for full time employees - 401(k) eligibility - Accrued paid sick leave for all employees, including part-time employees - Paid vacation, accruing at 80 hours per year - Opportunities for career growth and professional development - Supportive team culture that values clarity, reliability, and high performance - Access to the right tools, technology, and support to do your best work **Additional Information** Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
