Billing Clerk

**Rome Health is seeking a full-time Billing Clerk** to support the accurate and timely processing of medical claims. This role is responsible for the daily review, validation, and submission of claims, as well as monitoring and following up on claim denials. Additional responsibilities include routine Accounts Trial Balance (ATB) review, credit balance resolution, and ongoing payer follow-up. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and committed to staying current with payer guidelines and compliance requirements. **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ### **Position Responsibilities** - Submit and resubmit claims accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner - Review and validate claims with errors within the electronic billing system on a daily basis - Manage follow-up worklists and task reminders ("ticklers") to ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts ### **Education, Training, Experience, Certification, and Licensure** - High school diploma or GED required - Prior experience in medical billing required - Strong typing and customer service skills required High School diploma or GED.
