Compare vendor pricing and recommend the most competitive commercial options. Ensure BOM compliance with customer technical requirements. Manage proposal timelines and vendor follow-ups. Vendor Management Engage with infrastructure vendors for pricing, quotations, and product updates. Maintain relationships with OEMs and distributors. Track hardware lifecycle and End-of-Life (EOL) products. Monitor new technology releases and pricing trends. Infrastructure Knowledge Develop BOMs covering technologies such as: Servers (Rack, Blade, Hyperconverged) Storage (SAN, NAS, Object Storage) Networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN) Firewalls Load Balancers Virtualization platforms Backup & Recovery Cloud Infrastructure Operating Systems Database Licensing Middleware Security Solutions Monitoring Platforms Data Centre Infrastructure Cabling and Rack Components Power, UPS and Environmental Components Stakeholder Management Present infrastructure solution options to internal stakeholders.
