As the Bilingual Front Office Lead, you will be the heart and soul of our clinic's first impression, creating meaningful connections with every patient you meet. - **Role Highlights:** Be the friendly face that greets our patients and sets the tone for their visit. - **Impactful Work:** Directly influence the patient experience and contribute to the health of our community. - **Collaborative Environment:** Work alongside a dedicated, passionate team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. - **Growth Opportunities:** Benefit from mentorship and professional development programs that nurture your career journey. - **Mission-Driven:** Play a vital role in our mission to provide accessible, quality healthcare for everyone. ## **Key Responsibilities** - Answer incoming calls and efficiently route them to the appropriate department. - Conduct client intake and inform the relevant staff of the client's arrival promptly. - Accurately enter patient information into our databases. - Adhere to appointment scheduling and cash handling procedures. - Complete opening and closing procedures with precision. - Participate actively in the Performance Improvement Program. - Assist in training and developing staff to ensure team growth. - Monitor patient flow and collaborate with management for staffing needs. - Handle escalated customer service issues with empathy and professionalism. - Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing clinic operations. - Evaluate staff performance for continuous improvement. - Facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers. - Review provider schedules for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. - Manage office supply levels to support seamless operations. - Foster a respectful and courteous environment for all. - Promote effective team relations and collaboration. - Engage with a primary care medical home approach. - Attend mandatory safety training and maintain a safe workplace. - Follow exposure control plans to ensure a safe environment. - Perform additional duties as needed to support the clinic team. ## **Minimum Qualifications** - High school graduate or equivalent required. - Bilingual preferred. - Pleasant, professional phone voice. - Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients. - Efficient and accurate data-entry skills. - Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience preferred. - Basic knowledge such as basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing may also be required. - Must manage multiple deadlines and decision making responsibilities. - Physical demands include frequent sitting and talking, occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving up to 25 pounds. - Work environment may involve exposure to infectious waste and moderate to loud noise levels. ## **About Legacy Community Health** As the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southeast Texas, Legacy Community Health has been delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable health care for nearly 40 years.
