About the role: The BESS Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems that support Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Qualifications: - Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record. - Valid Texas FAL (Fire AlarmTechnicianLicense) isrequired. - Familiarity with NFPA (70, 72, and 101) requirements for fire alarm system installation and testing - Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements for alarm system installation. - Proficiencyin using hand tools and specialized equipment for installation and repairs. - Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems. - Ability to detect and resolve problems with cabling and wiring connections. - Comfortable reading and working from technical diagrams and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
