**Dairy Queen of Tyler** is seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Human Resources & Benefits Coordinator** to join our HR team. This role is responsible for administering employee benefits, supporting HR compliance initiatives, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR operations. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in HR best practices, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent employee support while maintaining confidentiality. **Key Responsibilities** - Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit programs. - Monitor employee incidents and manage Workers' Compensation claims and related documentation. - Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. - Assist with new hire onboarding and employee offboarding processes. - Follow up on E-Verify cases and ensure timely resolution. - Track required employee trainings, certifications, and compliance deadlines. - Assist with HR audits, reporting, and recordkeeping. - Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and compliance with payroll processes. - Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed. **Qualifications** **Required:** - Previous experience in benefits administration or HR compliance. - Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems. **Preferred:** - Experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry. - Experience using Restaurant365 (R365). **Desired Skills** - Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with employees. - Self-motivated, dependable, and collaborative team player. **Schedule:** Part-Time (20–25 hours per week, M-F) **Location:** Dairy Queens of Tyler, Inc – Tyler, TX / On-Site Compensation: $22.00 per hour We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
