We offer great pay plus tips, ski pass/end of season bonus, sign on bonus and referral bonus for each new person you refer that joins the team. **Purpose of Position** To provide maximum levels of guest service, van transportation, luggage handling, bellman service, and other designated service in accordance with the goals and standards established by Mountain Lodge management. **Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities** to include the following (Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify position descriptions from time-to-time to meet the needs of the business with or without notice): - Provide guest services through van transportation, luggage handling, bellman service and other designated services in a cheerful, courteous, efficient and professional manner. - Be aware of the hours of operation and service levels of the Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, Concierge, and Front Desk departments. Know the location and hours of operation of Telluride's restaurants, shops, various activities and transportation vehicles. - Keep vans clean and well maintained at all times, with sufficient gas, oil, and window washer fluid. - Daily responsibilities: - Complete daily checklist according to schedule. - Complete all Bellman requests. - Deliver guest dry cleaning and mail. - Maintain the cleanliness of the following: - Vans - Office entry way and walkways - Lobby - Bell stand - Bell storage - Locker Rooms - Pool Decks - Other areas designated - Open and close the pools, hot tubs, and saunas according to seasonal schedules. - Police the property for trash, glass, towels and trespassers. Pick up cigarette butts. - Early morning and late-night snow removal in the winter. - Must maintain a neat, clean and friendly appearance wearing a clean and neat uniform including proper footwear, a belt, and nametag. - Know and follow parking and driving regulations in the village and pay own traffic tickets. - Inform Front Desk of location on a timely basis. - Employ safe lifting procedures at all times. - Continually monitor all work areas for safety and sanitation. - Correct any dangerous situation that may present itself. Initiate action and follow through until situation is rectified. - Observe any unusual activity, and report thereon to the Maintenance Supervisor, General Manager or front desk. - Have a working knowledge of the Bellman Training Manual. - Have a working knowledge of the Emergency Manual. **Required Position Skills** - Ability to speak/read basic English - Planning/Organizing - Service Orientated - Fast learner - Team Work **Other Skills / Abilities** - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop personal relationships in a professional manner - Desire and ability to work within a diverse staff - Ability to work well under limited supervision at times **Language Skills** - Fluency in English is required, additional language ability is a bonus - Ability to read, speak and write English **Reasoning Ability** - Must be able to think freely and make decisions on own pertaining to job responsibility - Able to perform duties without great supervision - Ability to keep calm, responsive and friendly under pressure - Able to handle a variety of different tasks at once as well as challenges that may arise with guests, customers and/or employees - Knows when to request help or assistance from supervisor **Work Environment** - This is a very fast paced busy environment - Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by The Libe…
