Behavioral Health Technician (Full Time)

This position is at Pyramid Healthcare's Gratitude House. This location is a women's halfway house located in Altoona, Pa. **Summary** An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Complete the intake process with new clients into program • Maintains client documentation • Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable • Coordination of client activities • Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention • Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment • Assists with the dietary needs of clients • Completes all required trainings • Other duties as assigned **Supervisory Responsibilities** None **Required Qualifications** Licensure, Education, & Experience • High School diploma or equivalent • Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience • Current CPR, AED and First Aid, preferred **Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position will require local travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.
