Behavioral Health Counselor - Student Assistance Program - Full Time

**Summary:** - Provides behavioral health counseling services. - Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals. - Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations. - Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. - Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. - Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge. **Education:** Must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in behavioral health or related field. **Licenses:** No licensing required **Essential Functions:** Provide behavioral health counseling and education for students centered around substance use prevention. **Other Duties:** Attend school related meetings as requested by the district. update 10-22-24 The pay range for this position is $18.55 - $29.40/hr ### About the Company Joining the Guthrie team allows you to become a part of a tradition of excellence in health care.
