**Job Description** **Job Title:** BDC and CSI Coordinator **Reports to:** Executive General Manager **FLSA Status:** Exempt **Prepared By**: HR Department **Summary:** Coordinates with an outside BDC vendor and General Managers, Sales Managers, and Salespeople to ensure that customer sales inquiries through phone calls and the internet are handled correctly. Coordinates efforts to ensure that new vehicle purchasers are completely satisfied with the purchase experience. Essential Duties include the following. Extra Duties may be assigned. -Runs daily/weekly/monthly BDC Department reports according to predetermined metrics and tracks results. Communicates with both the vendor and General Managers about results that are lacking or exceeding expectations. -Listens to actual customer/CSR phone calls. Communicates with both the Vendor and the General Managers about calls that either don’t meet expectations or are exceeding expectations. -Assures scheduled appointments have been confirmed daily. -Downloads lists from Manufacturers and other sources into the CRM. -Updates and purifies customer records. -Ensures missed sales appointments and unsold customer appointments are rescheduled. -Contacts customers who have purchased new vehicles in a timely manner. Thanks customers for their purchase, and inquiries whether customer is completely satisfied. -Informs the appropriate General Manager about customer concerns reference their sales experience. Follows up with General Managers and the customer to ensure the concern(s) have been addressed. **Supervisory Responsibilities** This position has no supervisory responsibilities. **Qualifications** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Three years’ experience working in an automotive dealership BDC. **Language Skills** Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and sales personnel. Ability to gather information and respond effectively to complaints from customers. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations. **Mathematical Skills** Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations. **Reasoning Ability** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
