The Full Stack Developer will play a key role in analyzing user needs and support in the development of software solutions for client use, including building automated tests to validate the quality and reliability of those solutions. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Developing and maintaining high-performing microservice applications - Will be part of a team that develops detailed and robust design, code, test, and implementation of proposed systems - Developing technical solutions, and documenting the solution architecture and design using standard design tools - Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team - Design, implement, or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency - Developing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to support continuous integration and ensure defect-free delivery - Creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review) **QUALIFICATIONS** - Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred. - Active IRS MBI Clearance - Minimum 4+ years of experience in development, design, and solution implementation - Experience with Java and JEE technologies with detailed understanding of user interface frameworks and back-end software architecture interactions - Experience with design and development of Microservices and RESTful APIs in an AWS and Docker platform - Experience with container (e.g. Docker) build and deployment and with PostgreSQL and other various AWS RDS databases - Hands-on experience with one or more frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js - Experience building automated tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Playwright, or similar, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines - Experience working on Agile projects and understanding of Agile terminology, being part of a dynamic, highly-independent Scrum team following the standard Scrum ceremonies in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment - Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap - Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing.
