BARTENDER

The ***Bartender*** will provide beverage service in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty. **Job Requirements:** - Make and create specialty drinks for guests. - Function as cashier for beverage outlet and ensure balanced monies. - Maintain proper set-up of the bar, including maintaining cleanliness of guest areas. - Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer. - Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. - Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Education and Experience:** - Highschool diploma/GED. - **Minimum of two years’ experience working in a casino/bar establishment preferred.** **Additional Requirements:** - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must comply with all health codes and regulations. - Knowledge of casino environment. - Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service. - Good oral and written communication skills. - Must have and maintain an Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training. - Must have previous experience in handling cash. - Must have the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of our guests. - Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. **Required Work Cards:** - Alcohol Certification **Machinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used:** - POS equipment and related programs
