## Overview Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards - Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to casino guests - Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and tribal regulations - Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area - Accurately process guest transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system - Monitor guest consumption and responsibly handle intoxicated guests following casino policies - Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies as needed - Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary - Follow all safety, sanitation, and health department standards - Adhere to tribal gaming policies, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements - Perform side work and opening, closing, and all other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment - Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately - Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure - Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods - Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds - Manual dexterity to operate bar tools and POS systems - Ability to work in a loud, smoky, or crowded environment Work Environment - Fast-paced casino environment - Evening, weekend, holiday, and late-night shifts required - Exposure to secondhand smoke where applicable ## Description The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to casino guests in a fast-paced, regulated gaming environment.
