Barista

**Job Purpose:** - As a Barista at Hugo's Family Marketplace (& Caribou), you will be the face of our coffee service, providing exceptional customer experiences while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service, product knowledge, and adherence to health and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and efficient manner. - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive interaction. - Prepare and serve beverages according to Caribou standards, ensuring consistency and quality. - Prepare food items, including pastries and sandwiches, adhering to company recipes and presentation standards. - Operate the point-of-sale system/register with accuracy, handling cash and card transactions securely. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating area, ensuring a welcoming environment. - Conduct inventory checks and assist in stock management to ensure smooth operations. - Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff. - Demonstrate product knowledge and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment. **Benefits:** Full Time - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay.
