JOB PURPOSE: Keep Ocean Lounge, Circle bar and service bar stocked during working hours. To ensure clean and neat tables for guest dining experience, assist in overall guest service interactions in the Beverage department. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** - Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Casino operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino operations. Develop solutions for customer concerns and continual focus on customer service as our top priority. - Bar backs are responsible for stocking Ocean Lounge and service bar. - They will put away all liquor, beer and wine. - The bar back will keep the liquor room and beer cooler clean and tidy. - Stocking both bars consists of filling beer, wine, and liquor, cutting fruit and filling wells with ice. - Washing glassware at the end of the night and cleaning the bar. - Locking up the beer cooler before they leave. - Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. - Be on time, clock-in and out in uniform. - Make sure your stations are well stocked with silverwear, napkins, coffee cups, etc. - Make sure you have the appropriate food items needed, i.e. lemon, butter, cream, coffee, tea, etc. - Check on water glasses, coffee cups and ashtrays. - Maintain communication with the servers or manager to re-set tables as quickly as possible. - Clean, bus, and reset tables. Help refill waters and coffees. - Run food to tables during peak times. - All chairs are to be dusted for crumbs, including wiping all chairs for liquids and stains. - Provide general assistance to servers. - Follow proper service procedures/techniques at all times. - Assist fellow service personnel whenever possible and appropriate. - Comply at all times with QBR standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations. - Maintain a neat and organized work area. - Entertain potential guests/clients. - Adhere to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 Policy, and HR Standard Operating Procedures. - The above duties and responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position.
