**Banquet Line Cook** **Opportunity:** The Osthoff Resort & Spa is seeking a Banquet Cook to join our banquet culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will assist with all aspects of banquet food preparation and execution, ensuring high standards and delivering memorable dining experiences. Our Banquet Department hosts a wide range of events including weddings, corporate conferences, and seasonal buffets. *\*\*Full-time or part-time positions available.* *\*\*Full-time benefits include paid vacation, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plus company match, resort-wide discounts, and more!* **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort & Spa - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all banquet event orders are completed in a timely manner - Maintain knowledge of standard menus, special menus, and 86 items - Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and banquet team members - Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling - Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation for all banquet functions - Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed - Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment - Maintain a harmonious work environment - All other duties as assigned **Skills/Requirements:** - Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred - 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume banquet or resort setting preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Flexible schedule including some evening, weekend, and holiday availability - Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence **Why Work at the Osthoff Resort & Spa?** The Osthoff Resort & Spa’s mission is to deliver the best Midwest resort experience to our guests.
