A full service creditor's rights law firm with a national bankruptcy practice is seeking a remote attorney with experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. **Ideal candidates will be located in Baltimore, Maryland.** A qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure; however, we are open to training the right team-oriented candidate with less experience. **License to practice law in Maryland required.** **Specific Job Responsibilities:** - Primarily manages bankruptcy routine matters - Draft and review all pleadings and claims filed in the particular matter - Attends scheduled hearings - Responds to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries - Review filings on behalf of the clients - Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs) - Resolving routine bankruptcy matters such as Motions for Relief, Objections to Confirmation, Proofs of claim, etc. - Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the Court **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** - Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws - Computer Literacy Professionalism - Keyboard Skills Attention to detail - Time Management Communication Skills **Required Education and Training:** - Law degree – JD - **Barred in Maryland** - Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in MD
