Job Title: Invasive Cardiac Physiologist Banding: Band 7 Location: Brighton, East Sussex Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Rate: £40 - £55 per hour Duration: 3 months We are seeking a highly skilled Invasive Cardiac Physiologist specializing in pacing to join our esteemed client in Brighton. This role involves performing advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implantation, follow-ups, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines. Key Responsibilities The role requires expertise in cardiac pacing and device management, including implantation, programming, and follow-up assessments. The physiologist will be responsible for analyzing complex intra-cardiac pressures, ensuring optimal device function, and providing specialist advice to clinicians. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role Qualifications & Experience IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (preferred). Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Extensive experience in cardiac pacing and device management. Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
