Role: Locum Invasive Cardiac Physiologist (EP Physiologist) Banding: Band 7/8 Location: Cardiff Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Start Date: 02/09/2024 Rate: £50 - £65 per day Duration: 3 months About the role: The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EP Physiologist (Invasive Cardiac Physiologist) to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This is a temporary position with a competitive hourly rate, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a leading healthcare environment. Duties and Responsibilities: You will perform invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor and assess patients’ cardiac function during procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable). Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist. Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology. Proven experience as an EP Physiologist with expertise in invasive cardiac procedures. Desirable: Experience in invasive cardiac procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Why work with Pulse?
