Role: Locum Sleep Physiologist Banding: 6 Location: Worthing Hours: Full-time Start Date: 28/10/2024 Rate: £26 - £35 per hour Duration: 3 Months About the role: The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Physiologist to join our team in Worthing. This is a full-time position starting on the 28th of October 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £26 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs. Duties and Responsibilities: You will conduct sleep studies and polysomnography. You will analyse and interpret sleep data. You will provide comprehensive reports and recommendations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment plans. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS). Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist. Experience as a sleep physiologist. Desirable: Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
