Band 6 Locum MRI Radiographer Band: 6 Location: Lincoln Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £25.00 - £26.00 Shift: 3x 12.5-hour shifts (flexible across all 7 days including weekends) About the role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Locum MRI Radiographer to join a dynamic imaging team in Lincoln. This role offers flexibility with three 12.5-hour shifts per week , covering weekdays and weekends. Responsibilities: As an MRI Radiographer , you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. You will ensure patient comfort and care throughout the imaging process, operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, and work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging. Maintaining compliance with radiation protection, infection control, and health & safety regulations will also be an integral part of the role. Requirements: HCPC registration is essential. Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification. Minimum 12 months of MRI scanning experience. Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and knowledge of various MRI sequences. Strong understanding of radiation safety and MRI safety protocols. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends.
