This role involves providing specialist speech and language therapy services to adults with learning disabilities within an acute setting. What your responsibilities will be for this Speech and Language Therapy role? As a Band 6 Locum Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist you will be responsible for delivering expert assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities, addressing complex speech and language needs. Your key duties will include conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing tailored therapy plans, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective outcomes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, and your role may involve liaising with families and carers to support therapeutic goals.
