Job Title: Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician (x2) Banding: Band 6 Location: Maudsley Hospital, London Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months with option to extend Hourly Rate: £25-27 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:15 Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking two experienced Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technicians to join the team at Maudsley Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist clinical trials pharmacy service, supporting the safe and effective delivery of research studies within a hospital setting. The successful candidates will play a key role in the coordination, dispensing, and management of clinical trials, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of clinical trials pharmacy services within a hospital setting Dispense and manage investigational medicinal products (IMPs) Assist in the setup, organisation, and maintenance of clinical trials Develop and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and research documentation Ensure compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and UK Clinical Trials Regulations Work collaboratively with pharmacists, clinicians, and research teams Maintain accurate and up-to-date trial documentation and records Qualifications and Experience NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or recognised equivalent) Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with up-to-date CPD Experience working within a hospital clinical trials pharmacy service Proven experience in dispensing and organising clinical trials Knowledge of ICH GCP and UK Clinical Trials Regulations Experience writing SOPs and research documentation Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams Why Choose Pulse?
