If you're catching what we’re throwing, please read on! ## HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR DAY No two production shifts are exactly alike, but you might: - Mix, shape, proof, bake, and finish bagels, pastries, and seasonal baked goods. - Prepare spreads, sauces, dressings, proteins, and other house-made ingredients following recipes and production schedules. - Prep, portion, package, label, and store products for delivery to our shops. - Monitor product quality to ensure everything leaving the commissary meets CYM standards. - Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean, organized, and food safe. - Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, and health department standards every step of the way. - Communicate inventory shortages, equipment issues, waste, or quality concerns to leadership. - Learn new production stations and continuously build your skills. - Support teammates, help train new hires, and pitch in wherever the team needs you most. ## YOU DON'T NEED BAGEL EXPERIENCE. Variety is the spice of life, and we hire folks with a crazy wide range of backgrounds! You'll do well if you have at least one year of experience in food production, baking, prep cooking, or another fast-paced kitchen environment.
